| All the cam gears will go in to the proper position and not require any special rig to keep them in place. However, that said, quite often when they are put in to their proper place, they are right on the cusp of snapping over. This is especially true on the passenger side. You can use gloves, and carefully grip and rotate them very slowly. As long as you have a firm grip, this will prevent them from snapping over. Or you could decide not to risk smashing your fingers when it snaps over! Use a pair of pliers or whatever to grab the gear inside (where you could grab it) and then just rotate it that way. On the intake cam gear, you can also remove the 4 tiny screws that hold the spring, and use a socket (19mm IIRC) on the bolt that holds the gear to the cam. This makes it very easy to rotate. If your valve covers are off, you can use a big wrench on the camshaft to rotate it. There is a nice place to do this on each cam. So, lots of ways to skin that cat. Good luck.
